Anniversary exhibition moves into the foyer of the OEI
News from Feb 03, 2022
Those who have not yet been able to visit the Eastern European Institute's anniversary exhibition "70 Years OEI" can rejoice. Since this week, part of the banners can be seen in the institute's foyer at Garystraße 55. After the exhibition opened at the beginning of November 2021, it moved around various locations on the FU's Dahlem campus until the end of January. Now it has returned to its thematic home. The exhibition is dedicated to important stages in the history of the institute from 1951 onwards and sheds light on student protests at the OEI or the reorientation of the institute in the transformation period of the 1990s.
Anyone who would like to see the exhibition can do so during the regular opening hours of the Osteuropa-Institut (Garystr. 55, 14195 Berlin). These are from Monday to Friday during the usual opening hours between 8 am and 8 pm. Visiting the exhibition is free of charge and access is barrier-free.
