Presentation of findings at the Helsinki University
Sabine Kropp and Ulla Pape attended the annual conference hosted by the Aleksanteri Institute in Helsinki and presented some of the Govrus findings.

The 19th Annual Conference of theAleksanteri Institute was dedicated to the topic "Technology, Culture, and Society in the Eurasian Space".
Sabine Kropp presented a conference contribution "A bricolage reflecting market requirements and Soviet legacies - How Russian companies understand their social responsibility" that emerged from the Govrus project. Ulla Pape together with Marina Khmelnitskaya (University of Helsinki) presented a paper "Ideas and Discourses in Authoritarian Regimes: The Case of Social Policy in Russia". The third contribution "Active Social Policy in Russia: Income Inequality and Demographics in Russian Housing Policy" was made by Marina Khmelnitskaya (University of Helsinki) and Aleksandra Burdyak (Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration) and focused on housing policy in nowadays Russia.
The presentations were followed by Abel Polese’s (Dublin University) comments and a lively discussion with the panel participants.
The conference constituted a great opportunity to discuss our research findings with researchers from other countries and universitites.
