Ekaterina Shulman: "Categorizing modern autocracies: problems of regime typology in times of political change"
The OEI is pleased to welcome the renowned Russian political scientist Ekaterina Shulman as guest speaker at the seminar "Authoritarianism: Concepts, Practices, Research Methods".
The guest lecture on "Categorizing modern autocracies: problems of regime typology in times of political change" will take place on 28 June 2023 at 10:00 am and will offer participants the opportunity to gain insights into the challenges of regime typology in a changing political landscape.
Ms. Shulman is known for her expertise in Russian politics, the legislative process in modern Russia, parliamentarism, and decision-making mechanisms in hybrid political regimes. Ms Shulman is currently a Fellow of the Robert Bosch Academy Berlin.
