Muboriz Mirzoshoev earned his M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Trier, supported by the DAAD scholarship. With over three years of experience at a governmental analytical think tank and more than two years of university-level teaching, he has specialized in development economics and macroeconomics. Currently, he is a CAFDP scholarship recipient at the University of Central Asia and an external PhD candidate, supervised by Prof. Theocharis Grigoriadis. His research focuses on the effectiveness of monetary transmission mechanisms in Central Asia and the impact of the Russian economy on the region through the remittances channel.
