The Chair of Economics has received the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet funding from the European Commission to create the Jean Monnet Chair in External Economic Relations of the European Union (EUEXTECON) at the Osteuropa-Institut for the period 2022-2025. The focus of the Jean Monnet Chair will be the development of courses and the strengthening of cooperation related to the political economy and foreign trade of the European Union with the countries of the Eastern Partnership, Western Balkans and Southern Neighborhood.
