We are very happy to announce that Laura Eras, a former researcher of our chair, has successfully defended her PhD thesis at the LMU Munich. The thesis on "Social Distance between Language and Status Groups in the Post-Soviet Region: Trajectories of Divisions" deals with topics of social distance between linuistic groups in Ukraine and assortative mating in Russia. We congratulate Laura on successfuly completing her PhD.
