On 23 October, 17.00, Stephen Hall from the University of Bath is going to give an online talk at the Chair of Politics, presenting his most recent book on "Authoritarian International" (2023). The book explores the scopes and the extent of learning and information exchange across authoritarian regimes and is a highly detailed study of how autocracies imitate each other, copy each other or learn from each other, focusing on the post-Soviet Eurasia.
