Between 13 and 19th of July the XVIII International Sociological Association Congress took place in Yokohama, Japan. The main theme of the meeting of almost 6000 sociologists from all over the globe was "Facing an Unequal World: Challenges for Global Sociology". A member of our faculty, dr Justyna Stypińska, participated in this international event presenting a paper titled "Age, Gender and Migration Status on the Labour Market – a Case for Accumulation of Advantages and Disadvantages?".
