The conference "Transforming Berlin’s Urban Space - East European Jewish Migrants in Charlottengrad and the Scheunenviertel, 1918-1939" by the Osteuropa-Institut, Freie Universitaet Berlin in cooperation with Juedisches Museum Berlin and Wissenschaftliche Arbeitsgemeinschaft des Leo Baeck Instituts took place October 17^th-19^th 2009 at the Centrum Judaicum and Juedisches Museum Berlin.
