The volume “Transit und Transformation: Osteuropäisch-jüdische Migranten in Berlin 1918-1939” has been published in September 2010.

The volume is based on materials of the epynomous conference (Berlin, October 2009), which was organized by the DFG-research project “Charlottengrad und Scheunenviertel” at the Institute for East-European Studies, Freie Universität Berlin, in cooperation with the Jewish Museum Berlin, the Wissenschaftliche Arbeitsgemeinschaft des Leo Baeck Instituts and the Centrum Judaicum Berlin. The chapters are written in English or German.
